Congratulations on your purchase of a Chevrolet Corvette. Please read this information and your Owner Manual to ensure an outstanding ownership experience. Note that your vehicle may not include all the features described in this booklet. Keep this booklet with your Owner Manual for easy reference.

3 See Section 3 of your Owner Manual. A B C E I L N O P Q T S R G H Instrument Panel Cluster Y our vehicle’s instrument panel is equipped with this cluster or one very similar to it. The instrument panel cluster includes these key features: A. Engine Coolant T emperature Gauge B.
Getting to Know Y our Corvette 4 Driver Information Center (DIC) The DIC informs you of the status of many of your vehicle’s systems and is used to display driver personalization features and warning/status messages. The display is located at the bottom of the instrument panel cluster .
5 Opening the Doors T o open the doors, simply touch the pad located at the rear edge of each door . Once the pad is pressed, the doors unlock and open if the Keyless Access transmitter is within three feet of the door . See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.
Getting to Know Y our Corvette 6 If the T ransmitter Battery Is Weak: 1. Place the transmitter in the glove box transmitter pocket with the buttons facing toward the passenger side of the vehicle. 2. Press the brake pedal with the vehi- cle in Park (with an automatic trans- mission), or press the clutch pedal (with a manual transmission).
The T ire Pressure Monitor alerts you when a significant reduction in pressure occurs in one or more of your vehicle’s tires by illuminating the low tire pressure warning light ( ) on the instrument panel. The low tire pressure warning light will remain on until you correct the tire pressure.
Getting to Know Y our Corvette 8 Active Handling and T raction Control Systems The Active Handling and T raction Control Systems help you maintain directional control during most driving conditions and limit wheelspin. When the system is working, the Active Handling message is displayed in the DIC.
9 Y our vehicle's engine was designed to use premium unleaded gasoline. See your Owner Manual for information on fuel use for your particular vehicle. See Section 5 of your Owner Manual. 6-Speed Paddle Shift with Automatic Modes Automatic Modes The familiar automatic transmission shift positions have been replaced with PRNDS.
Getting to Know Y our Corvette 10 RDS Radio Functions Y our audio system is equipped with a Radio Data System (RDS). RDS fea- tures are available for use only on FM stations that broadcast RDS information. RDS relies on receiving specific informa- tion from these stations and will work only when the information is available.
11 Loading a CD (if equipped with the Multiple-Disc CD Player) T o Load a Single CD: • Press and release the Load button ( ). • Insert a CD partway into the slot, label side up. The CD changer will pull the CD in. Once loaded, the CD will begin to play automatically .
Getting to Know Y our Corvette 12 T emperature Control: The driver-side knob changes the temperature on the driver ’ s and passenger ’s side of the vehicle. T urn the knob clockwise or counterclockwise to manually increase or decrease the temperature inside your vehicle.
13 Head-Up Display (HUD) (if equipped) Y our vehicle’s Head-Up Display (HUD) projects a range of instrument panel cluster information on the windshield, reducing the need to look away from the road. The information appears as an image out toward the front of the vehicle.
Getting to Know Y our Corvette 14 Flash at Unlock — T wo short flashes of all turn signals when the doors or trunk is unlocked. (Settings: No Flash At Unlock/Flash At Unlock) Flash at Lock — One long flash of all turn signals when the doors are locked.

Heated Seats (if equipped) There is one heated seat control button for each seat located on the center console. Off: Press the bottom of the button ( ) to turn the system off. High: Press the top of the button once to turn the system on high. Low: Press the top of the button twice to turn the system on low .
17 Coupe T op Y our coupe has a removable roof panel. Until you are sure you can remove the panel alone, have someone help you. T o Remove the T op: There are two latches on the front part of the panel and one latch in the middle rear of the panel. 1.
Getting to Know Y our Corvette 18 OWNER INFORMA TION Convertible Power T op (if equipped) If your vehicle has a convertible power top, it can be lowered and stowed under the tonneau cover behind the seats. T o Lower the Convertible Power T op: 1. Shift an automatic transmission into Park or shift a manual transmission into Neutral.
19 Z06 Features Checking Engine Oil Z06 models are equipped with a high performance dry sump engine lubrica- tion system. This system operates differ- ently than a standard engine lubrication system. Y ou should only check your oil level after the engine has been thoroughly warmed up and then shut off for at least five minutes.
