2 S AFETY I NSTRUCTIONS Y our Golden power lif t chair is a piece of medical equipment. Therefor e, you are r equired to exer cise caution when operating it to ensure your personal safety and that of others around you. The following ar e rules for safe operation of your Golden P ower Seat Lift Chair .
3 M AKING P OWER C ONNECTIONS IN Y OUR N EW L IFT C HAIR 1. Remove AC/DC adapter (transformer) from packaging located under base of chair . 2. Place two 9 volt alkaline batteries (not included) into the slots provided on the underside of the adapter .
H ELPFUL H INTS Continuous operation of your chair will overheat the motor and trip the thermal- overload safety switch. Give your chair a rest between uses. If you r un your chair 5-6 continuous cycles the motor may shut off. If this happens, wait 10-15 minutes and the overload switch will reset and the chair will operate again.
S ER VICE I NFORMA TION Y our new GOLDEN POWER LIFT CHAIR operates on standard household current (115-120V A.C.). Standard models meet both UL, & CSA requirements. Most models have a 110 volt 2 prong polarity plug. The easy to reach pendant switch contr ol operates both the lif t and recline action of your chair .
O PTIONAL T RANQUIL -E ASE M AS SAGE AND H EA T S YSTEM Operation Instructions: Plug in speak er jack end of transformer to bottom outside of chair . Then plug the 12V UL/ CSA W all T rans- former into the electrical wall outlet. (120 V olts - 60 Hz power).
