Installation Connections Make electri cal and communicat ion connections to the AWI. • To avoid electric shock, turn of f power before servicing. • Shut off powe r at main circu it breaker. • All ele ctrical wir ing must be don e by a qualifi ed electri cian and comply with all local codes and regulati ons.

Computer Con fi gu ration Computer Confi guration S e tU pa nA u t o m atic IP Address The AWI requires a n IP address obtained by you r computer. Set up your computer to obta in one automatica lly. 1. Find the sec tion for the brows er that you use , then follow the step s to set your computer to obtain the IP ad dress automa tically.
Computer Con fi gu ration Set Up IP Addre ss Manually If the automati c configuration does not work or ca nnot be used with your system, the IP address requir ed by the AWI can be set up ma nually. 1. In the pre vio us section, find and follow the directions f or yo ur browser.
Computer Con fi gu ration System Initia lization NOTE: System initializa tion must be done by an administra tor. This pro cess is required on ly when the syste m is firs t started . NOTE: Do not c onnect the system to a LAN unless it is configur ed proper ly first.

System Con fi gura tion Recover IP Settings If you have lost your IP sett ings and can no longer access screens, you can force a network reset to configure the AW I to the default Local Net work Configuration. NOTICE To avoid damage to the cir cuit board, wear Part No.

Use the Gateways section to add addit ional gateways thro ugh which the AWI will communicate with Gr aco devices.
