Installation • Air and fluid h oses: Use only ground ed hoses with a maximum of 500 ft (15 0 m) combined hose length to e nsure groundi ng conti nuity. • Air compressor: Follow manufact urer’s recommendations. • Fluid supply conta iner: Follow you r local cod e.
Installation Air Exhaust Ventilation The air exhaust port is 3/4 npt( f). Do not restrict the air exhaust port. Excessive exhaust restrict ion can cause erratic pu mp operation. To provide a remote exhaust: 1. Remove the muf fler (T) fr om the pump air exhaust port.

Operation Start and Adju st the Pump 1. Be sure the pump is properly grounde d. Refer to Grounding, page 8 . 2. Ensure the High/Low pressur e lever is in the “Low” positio n before start ing the pump. 3. Check all fitt ings to be sure t hey are tight .
