6. Dress safely . Do not wear loose clothing or je welry , as the y can become caught in moving par ts or come in contact with open flames. W ear a protective hair covering to prevent long hair from becoming caught in moving parts or coming in contact with open flames.
SPECIFIC PRODUCT W ARNINGS AND PRECA UTIONS 1. Maintain a safe working environment. Keep the work area well lit. Make sure there is adequate surrounding work space. Alwa ys k eep the area free of obstruc- tions, grease , oil, trash, and other debris. Do not use the Propane T orch in areas near flammable chemicals, dusts, and vapors.
21. When work is complete, only set the Propane T orch on a non-flammable sur- f ace like concrete , until the tool is completely cool to the touch. 22. W ARNING! The brass components of this product contain lead, a chemical known to the State of Calif ornia to cause bir th def ects (or other reproductive har m).

6. Adjust the flame to the desired level by turning the Hand Wheel (6) counterclockwise . (See Figure A.) 7. NO TE: The lit Propane T orch should operate with a b lue flame with a small yellow tip. If necessar y , adjust the Hand Wheel (6) if there is sputtering or popping.
