BDS 5 ENGLISH Receiver Front-Panel Cont rols Disc Slot : Inser t a compatible disc into the slot . T he BDS receiver’ s disc player will ac cept 5-inch (12cm) and 3-inch (8cm) discs.
BDS 6 Recei ver Rear-Panel Conne c t ions NOTE: See the C onnections sec tion, on page 14, for detailed information about making connections. AC P ower Connector : After you ha ve made and verified all other connections, plug the supplied AC pow er cord into this input and in to an unswitched AC outlet .
BDS 7 PL0004-01001 ENGLISH Subwoof er Cont rols and Connec tions Phase Switch : This switch determines whether the sub woofer driver’ s piston-like action moves in and out in phase with the sat ellite speakers.
BDS 8 Remote C ontrol Functions Eject Button : Press this button to eject a disc from the BDS r eceiver’ s built-in disc player . Before pressing this button, mak e sure no objects are blocking the disc slot opening. Pow er Button : Pressing this button t oggles the BDS receiver between the On and Standby modes.
BDS 9 ENGLISH Remote Control Func t ions Find Button : Pr essing this button during disc playback activates the search function, allowing you to jump t o a specific location on the disc. Y ou can find a location by title, chapter or time. NO TE: T his feature is disc-dependent.
