INTRODUCTION 3 Introduction ENGLISH Introduction T hank you for purchasing the Harman Kardon HKTS 7, with which you’re about to begin many years of listening enjoyment. T he HKTS 7 has been custom-designed to provide all the excite- ment and power of the cinema experience in your own living room.
4 REAR P ANEL CONNECTIONS Rear P anel Connections HKTS 7 or HKTS 7BQ System 7 Subwoofer -Level Control: Volume may be adjusted using the Subwoofer -Level Control . T urn the control clockwise to increase the SUB-TS7’ s volume, or counterclockwise to decrease it.
REAR P ANEL CONNECTIONS 5 Rear P anel Connections ENGLISH Line-Level Subwoofer (SUB) Input: Con- nect the subwoofer output of a receiver with digital surround sound decoding, such as Dolby* Digital or DTS ® , to this input. T his input bypasses the SUB-TS7’ s internal crossover circuitry , and should only be used with a filtered signal.
6 SPEAKER PLACEMENT Speaker Placement Color -Coding System T he HKTS 7 uses the channel color -coding system established by the Consumer Electronics Association to mak e setting up your home theater speak er system as easy as possible .
MOUNTING OPTIONS 7 ENGLISH W all-Mounting for Satellites Unscrew the bolt that attaches the black shelf stand to the bottom of the speak er . Store the stand and bolt in a safe place in case they are needed for a future installation. Mount the wall-br ack et attachment plate on the wall in the desired location.
