21 Playing back Using menus to pla y MP3 discs [MP3] This unit can play MP3 files recorded on CD-R/RW with a computer . Files are treated as tracks and f olders are treated as groups . 1 Press [T OP MENU]. 2 Press [ 3 , 4 ] to select the track and press [ENTER].
22 Playing back Pla ying while y ou are rec or ding [RAM] Press [ 1 ] (PLA Y). Play starts from the beginning of the program being recorded. (Time slip indicator lights.) [Note] Sound is not output while fast-f orwarding. [RAM] Y ou can play a progra m pre viously recorded.

24 Timer recording Timer recor ding [RAM] [DVD-R] This is a simple wa y of specifying a time to stop recording when you are in a hurry or be fore y ou go to bed.
25 Timer recording Y ou can enter up to 16 programs up to a month in advance. Each daily or weekly program is counted as one program. 1 Press [PROG/CHECK]. 2 Press [ENTER]. 3 Press [ 1 ] to mo ve through the items and change the items with [ 3 , 4 ]. ≥ The current settings are shown each time you press [ 1 ].

33 Editing The disc’ s availab le recording time may not increase after erasing short programs. Computer data cannot be erased. The a vailab le recording time on D VD-R does not increase when you erase prog rams. The lock symbol appears when the program is write- protected.
34 Editing Disc setting Enter Title If set, this will protect the disc from accidental erasure. Disc Protection Format Finalize (D VD-R recorded on this unit only) Y ou can play D VD-R on compatible D VD players b y finalizing them on this unit, effectiv ely making them into D VD-Video.
