Before proceeding, find your elliptical trainer’s serial number and model name loca ted under the console mast boot and enter it in the space provided belo w: Refer to this number when calling f or ser vice, and also enter this serial number on y our W arranty Card and in y our own records.
PO WER The console on your Horizon E20 is po wered b y 2 AA batteries, which are replaceable through the back side of the console. Y our elliptical itself , is powered b y y ou. Y our programmable Horizon E30 elliptical trainer is po wered b y a pow er supply .
FOLDING YOUR ELLIPTICAL TRAINER Note: It is important to alwa ys follow the correct order of steps when folding y our elliptical trainer . STEP 1: The first step is to position the elliptical pedal arms in the proper position. The pedal arms can be positioned in two different positions f or convenience.
MO VING Y our elliptical trainer has a pair of transport wheels built into the front of the frame. With the tread- mill in the folded position and bracing one f oot against the front f oot tube, carefully pull back on the console mast and roll the elliptical to the desired position.

QUICK ST ART UP Simply begin ex ercising. The console will automatically begin counting up and tracking your inf or- mation. RESET Press and hold the select button on the console. PROBLEM: Erratic or Inconsistent R eadout. SOLUTION: This is often caused b y dry electrodes or a loose chest strap (Horizon E30 only).

To use your Adv enture Program, follow these instruc- tions: 1. Once the Adventure Pr ogram has been selected, press ‘Enter’.

RESIST ANCE During a workout, the amount of resistance can be adjusted b y pressing the plus ‘Up’ or ‘Down ’ buttons or the quic k resistance ke ys on the console. The resistance levels v ary from lev el 1 to 20 quic k speed ke ys (level 1 being the eas- iest and level 20 being the most difficult).
