Safety first ● Dispose of packaging materials carefully and keep them w ell awa y from children. ● When disposing of your old machine , to minimise risk of injury to children, isolate from the electrical supply , remo ve the door , the plug and cut the mains cable off flush with the appliance .
1. Choose a location... Where y ou install the machine will affect its per formance . ● F or your safety and to comply with electrical regulations , seek professional advic e if you want t o install your machine in a bath or sho wer room. ● Make sure that the electr ical socket and wat er taps are easily accessible.
6 Hold the transit bolt and slide to the side and then pull out. The bolt and spacer should be remov ed intact. (see below) Using a screw driver , remov e the screw to release the plastic co ver . F irstly , unhook the grey drainage hose and proceed as f ollows , tak ing care not to loosen the hot and cold wat er fill hoses.

Hot and cold fill 1 Unclip the gr ey and blue fill hoses from the back of the machine. 2 C onnec t the free end of the grey fill hose t o the HO T water supply (see figure1). Connect the free end of the blue fill hose to the C OLD water supply . 3 T urn on your water supply and check f or leaks.
● T ak e car e when you remo ve the drain hose from the clips on the back of the machine. All machines are test ed with water before they lea ve the fac t or y so a small amount of wa ter may still be in the hose. ● Do not remove the hooked end support from the GREY drainage hose when using any of the dr ainage methods detailed below .

Door Locked Indicator ligh t The ‘ Door Locked ’ indicator light will come on two sec onds after you press the ‘ ST ART’ button and will stay lit throughout the programme . A shor t time after the progr amme has finished the indicator light will go out and you can then open the door .

18 Options V ariable spin speed This is only a vailable on Models WMA48, WMA46 and WMM39 Use this contr ol to reduc e the programme spin speed only . If you leav e this in the maximum position ( WMA48 1400, WMA46 1300 or WMM39 1400), the spin will be the maximum which is appropriate f or whatev er wash programme y ou hav e chosen.

T roubleshooting ... The machine will not start... ● Close the door . Check that the machine has power . Choose a programme and press the ‘ ST ART ’ button. I f after two seconds the ‘ Do or L ocked ’ indicator ligh t is not lit, check to see: i) If the machine is plugged in and switched ‘ON’.
T r oubleshooting ... The machine mak es a noise or vibra tes during a spin programme ... If the noise is very loud you should check whether: i) Y ou have remo ved the transit bolts. ii) Y ou hav e removed the polystyrene block. iii)Y ou hav e correctly adjusted the feet to stabilize the machine .
