(formerly known as HP StorageWorks 4400 Enclosure) The HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 30 Single Bus or Dual Bus Enclosures (hereafter referred to as "MSA30 SB or MSA30 DB") is an Ultra320 SCSI disk drive storage enclosure.

Upgradeability Upgrading a StorageWorks 4200/4300 Enclosure to a MSA30 is as easy as swapping out the I/O module and the EMU on the back of the unit. The unit must be powered down to replace the I/O unit. NOTE: U320 performance requires a compatible U320 controller.
