Foreword 1 Foreword Thank you f or choosi ng the HUAWEI Ascend D2 smartphone. This guide introduces you to the features and functions of your new phone. Please read it carefully before you start using the phon e. All pic tures and ill ustrations in this docum ent ar e for y our re ference only.

Prepara tions 5 2. Gently pull out the micro-SIM card tray. 3. Follow the directions on the micro-SIM card tray to place the micro-SIM card in the tray, and then replace the tray.
Prepara tions 6 Charging the battery Your phone's built-in battery is not user-remo vable. To replace the battery, contact an authorized service ce nter. Do not attempt to remove it yourself. Your phone supports f ast charging, which requires the pro vided power adapter and USB cable.
