13 2.7.3 Viewing Other P arts of the Home Screen 2.7.4 Customizing the Home Screen Adding a New Home Scree n Item 1. Touch and hold a blank area on the Home sc reen until the Add to home screen menu is displayed. You can also touch > Add on the Home screen to display the Add to home screen menu.

17 3.2 Answering or Reje cting a Call 3.2.1 Answering an Incoming C all When you receive a phone c all, the incoming call screen opens. If you ha ve previously save d the caller’s number in Contacts , the caller's na me and number are displayed.
18 You can also drag up the bar at the bottom of the screen to rejec t a call and send the caller a message. 3.3 Other Op erations During a Call 3.3.1 Making a Co nference Call If you receive a new call while you ar e already in a call, you can add the second call t o the call you are in.
19 3.3. 2 Swit ching B etween Calls If you receive a new ca ll while you are already in a ca ll, you can switch bet ween the two calls. 1. While you are in the first c all and the sec ond call comes in , answer t he incoming call, and then touch Swap .
20 4.1 Opening the Contacts Applica tion If you have n ot yet added any contac ts to your mob ile phone, Contacts displays a message with h ints on how to start adding c ontacts information. On the Home screen, touch > Contacts to open the Contacts application.
21 4.5 Searching for a Con tact 1. In the contact list, touch > Search . 2. Enter the name of the contact you wish to search for. As you type , contacts with matching names ap pear below the search box . On the contact list screen, you can touch a letter on the right to display c ontacts starting with the touched let ter.

24 4.11 Joining and Separa ting Contacts You may have duplicate c ontacts if you import contact s by: • Adding an account, suc h as a Gmail account. • Using the social netw orking services su ch as Facebook or Twitt er. (If your phone has the Streams funct ion, you can use it to a ccess Facebook or Twitt er.
25 4.12 Sending Contacts You can send contacts as a .vc f file via Bluetooth or Email. 1. In the contacts list, touch . 2. Select contacts that you want to sen d. 3. Touch Send . 4. Select the way you prefer to send the c ontacts you have select ed, for example Bluetooth or Email.
26 5.1. 2 Using t he Touc hPal key board 5.1.3 Switching the Keyboard La yout You can switch the keyboar d layout only when TouchPal is selected. There are three keyboa rd layouts for you to cho ose: Full QWERTY , 12-Key PhonePad and CooTek T+ .

32 7 Getting Connected 7.1 Mobile Netw orks Your mobile phone will be automatically configured to use your network operator’s 2G/3G service (if av ailable) when you t urn on the phone f or the first time . Note that the SIM/UIM card must be inserted (so me CDMA mobile phones have an integrated UIM card and do not need a separat e UIM card) 7.
33 7.2.2 Connec ting to a Wireless Network 1. After turning on Wi-Fi, touch > Settings . 2. Touch Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi setti ngs . You will see a list of detected Wi-Fi networks in the Wi-Fi networks section. 3. Touch a Wi-Fi network to connect to it.

43 8.4 Listening to the FM Radio The FM radio lets you listen to FM radio programs on yo ur mobile phone. Since the FM radio uses the provided wired ste reo headset as its antenna, befo re opening the application, connect the head set to your phone’s the audio jack .
44 9.1 Creating a Google Acco unt If you do n ot have a Go ogle account, y ou can create one: 1. After reading the setup information, touc h Next . 2. Touch Create . 3. Enter the first name, last name, and user name for your Google accou nt, and then touch Next .

You c an use it to communicate in real time with other people using Talk on a phone or on the web. 9.3.1 Opening G oogle Talk On the Home screen, touch > Talk to open the application.
