26 SET TING Th E SP AN The SP A N set ting mode in the S YSTEM SET TINGS MENU al lows you to adjust the system ON / OFF c ycle r ate. The default set ting is 2 F . The system c ycles ON or OFF when the tempe rature i s within 2°F (1 °C) ab ov e and below the set temperature.

30 USER SETTINGS The PERIODS PER DA Y ( O ption 1 ) can be set to 0, 2 or 4 . When set to 0, the thermost at operates as a digital non -pro grammable thermostat . The FIL T ER C HA NGE INDIC A T OR ( Option 2 ) runs in calendar days and can be set from 30 -360 days in 1 5 - day incremen t s ( the default is 90 ) .

63 A UT O RECO VER Y The AUT O REC OVERY F UNC TION allows heating a nd cooling systems to gradually recover from an energy -saving set point temperature to a comf or t s et point temperature. A UTO REC O V ER Y calcula tes the time ne eded to adjust the temperature to the nex t program set ting.
6 4 ENE RGY MONITOR FU NC TION The ENER GY MONI T OR f unction allows you to revi ew and monitor the ef fec t of your program set tings on the s ystem runtime.

67 COMPRESSOR PRO TECTION Af ter the system sto ps running in c ooling mode, there is a 3.5 minute dela y before it can be rest ar ted to prevent compressor damage due to rapid c ycli ng. RESET TING THE UNIT T o restore the ther mostat to the original factor y set tings , enter the SYSTEM SET TINGS MENU and set Option 1 2 to Y ES.
