7 English Espa ñol P or tug uês Standa rd Mount ing is the most c ommon way to mount a ceiling fan. Standard mounting is r ecommended for ceilings 2,4 m or higher. S crew the pipe into the fan motor [c] until tight the n tighten t he set screw [d] . reads on the pipe may be visible after tight ening, this is normal.

English Espa ñol P or tug uês 18 Carefully raise and tilt the fan assembly [a] and engage the holes in the canopy [b] with the two tabs [c] on the ceiling p late [d] . Make sure th at both holes are properly seated over the tabs and let the fan rest on the tabs.
19 English Espa ñol P or tug uês Connect the end of the ear th wire [a] (gr een/yellow) from the ceiling plate [b] and the ear th wire [c] from the ceiling t o the green/yellow wire [d] from the ball. Se cure b y twisting a wire nut clockwise onto the bare ends of the w ires until t ight.
English Espa ñol P or tug uês 20 Connect the end of the black wire [a] from the ball [b] to the black wire [c] from the ceiling. S ecure by twisting a wir e nut onto the bar e wires clockwise until tight.
