5 Introduction Your new digital projector is simple to co nnect, easy to use, and strai ghtforward to maintain. It is a versatile projector that is flexible enough fo r business presentation s and home video viewing too. IN2128 HDa has native 1080 p 1920 x 1080 reso lution.
6 Connector panel The projector provides both co mputer and video connection options, including: • VGA computer (2) • Composite video •H D M I •S - v i d e o • USB B connector (for projector.
7 Positioning the projector To determine where to position the projector, co nsider the size and shape of your screen, the location of your power outlets, and the distance between the projector and the rest of your equipmen t. He re are some general guidelines: • Position the project or on a flat surface at a right angle t o the screen.
8 Connecting a computer source VGA connection Connect one end of the provided compu ter cable to the Computer 1/Computer 2 connector on the projecto r and the other to the VGA connector o n your computer. If you are using a de sktop comp uter, you wil l need to discon nect the monitor cable fro m the computer’s video port f irst.
9 Displaying an image Press the Power button. The Power LED lights blue, and the fans start to run. When the lamp comes on, the start up screen displays. It can t ake up to a minute fo r the image to achieve full brightness. Note: When the feature, AC Power On, is enabled, th e projector aut omatically t urns on when power is connected.
10 Adjusting the image If necessary, adjust th e height of the projector by ro tating the elevator foot to extend t he foot. If necessary, rotate the levelin g foot located at the rear of th e projector. Avoid placin g your hand s near the hot exhaust vent at t he front of th e projecto r.
11 Connecting a video device You can connect video devices such as VCRs, DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras, video game console s, HDTV receivers, and TV tuners to the pro jector.
12 Shutting down the projector Auto Off Time The projector also has an Auto Off Time feat ure that automat ically turns the projecto r off after no active sources are detected and no u s er interact ion with th e projector is pe rformed for 30 minutes.

20 Using the remote control The remote uses two (2) AAA batteries (not provided). They are easily installed by removing the cover from the remote’s back, aligning the + and - ends of the batteries, sliding them in to place, and then replacing the cover.
21 Using the audio Using the projector’s speaker Connect the audio source to the Audio 1/Audio 2 conn ectors to hear audio through the projector speakers. Amplified speakers may also be connected to the projector using the Audio Out connector. To adjust the volume, pres s the Volume buttons on the remote.
22 Using the keypad buttons Most buttons are descri bed in detail in oth er section s, but here is an ov erview of their functions: Power –turns the projector on and off (page 9). Right arrow - When the menu is displayed, the right arrow button navigates through the menu.
23 Optimizing computer images After the projector is running and the image is on the screen, you can optimize the image using the onscreen menu s. For general information on usin g the menus, see page 25. • Select the User Preset in the Basic Menu b efore optimizing image s and the settings will be saved in that Preset.
24 Optimizing video images After your video device is connected properly and the image is on the screen, you can optimize the image using the onscreen menus. Select the Use r Preset in the Basic Menu before optimizi ng images and the settings will be saved in that Preset.
25 Using the menus 1 To open the menus, press the Menu button on the keypad or remote. (The menus automatically close after 60 seconds if no buttons are pressed.) Use the arrow buttons to move up and down to review the menu o ptions. 2 To enter a submenu, highlight the desi red submenu and pres s > on the keypad or Select on remot e.
26 Basic Menu To adjust the following setti ngs, highlight the set ting, use the right and left arrows to adjust the values. Aspect Ratio : Aspect ratio is the ratio of the image width to image height. TV screens are usually 4:3. HDTV and most DVDs are 16:9.

29 Lamp Programmed Dimming : When enabled, Programmed Dim ming enhances contrast ratios, lamp life and system noise performanc e. Lamp power will change continuously based on the brightness of the pr ogram content. Note: Image anomalies may be seen when image scenes change from dark to light (or light to dark).
30 Timer Auto Off Time : automati cally turns the p rojector of f after no signals are detected for a preset number of minutes. If an active sign al is received before the projecto r powers down, the image will be displayed.
31 Multimedia EZ Suite Menu Use the arrow keys to navigate up an d down, le ft and right. The right-hand men us change based on the le ft-hand menu selection. To select a menu option, press the right-hand ar row. To return to th e previous EZ Suite m enu (and ultima tely the EZ Suit e main menu), p ress the Menu or left arro w key.

38 EZ Display EZ USB The EZ USB allows you to project us ing EZ USB application from a Windows or Macintosh operating system thr ough a USB mini-B co nnection.
39 Wired LAN connection Internet IP Router 1 Take a RJ45 cable and connect on e end to the RJ45 LAN input jack of the projector and the other end to th e RJ45 port . 2 Press Menu on the keypad or remote and then go t o Advanced Menu > Setup > Network > Wired LAN menu.

49 EZ Display: Streaming Doc and Doc Viewer To stream your documents, transfer th e documents you want from the computer to your mobile de vice and disconnect your mobile device. Do cuments will be organized by their format type. Select a file to display it wirelessly.
50 EZ Display: Streaming Web The web browser will be dis played over WiFi. The Sketch and Save function s are also supported. This feature requires a Client Mode internet connection. See page 40 for more details. Select web browser. The default h ome page is www.

53 Wand Position and Avoiding Shadows Your Location Distance from the Screen You can use the LiteBoard™ Wand right up agai nst the screen, or around the room. You might find that your pointing accuracy will improve if you get closer to the screen. Also , avoid standing too far off from either side of the screen.

56 Maintenance Cleaning the lens 1 Apply a non-abrasive camera lens cleaner to a soft, dry cloth. • Projector must be off and the lens must be at ro om temperature. • Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner, and don’t apply the cleaner directly to the lens.
57 Replacing the projection lamp The Lamp Hours timer in the Projector Info me nu counts the number of hours the lamp has been in use. • NOTE : Be sure to us e the InFocus lamp module designed for this projector. You can order new lamps from www.infocus.
