Y ou w ill find i mportant sa fe ty information and u seful operating tip s. Using Y our Ne w Dishwa sher 1. Scrape lar ge food soil and hard items (toothpicks or bones ) from dishes.
7 Loading T op Rack The top rack is designed for cups , glasses , and s maller i tems. (See recommended loadin g patter ns shown.) NOTE : The features on your dishwasher rack may va ry from the drawings shown. ■ Place items so op en ends face down for cl eaning and draining.
8 ■ Load cookie sh eets, cake pans, and other large items at th e sides and bac k. Loadin g such items in front can keep t he water spray from reaching the detergent disp enser and silverw are basket. ■ Secure heavil y soiled cookware fac e down in the rack.
9 NOTE : Fill amou nts shown are for standard powdered de tergent. Amounts may vary if y ou use liquid or concent rated powdered detergent. T a blet detergents sh ould be pl aced in the mai n wash section of the detergent dispense r with the cover cl osed.
10 ■ Use the en er gy-sa ving dry optio n when ever poss ible. A llow longer drying t imes (over night) when us ing these opti ons. Use a rinse aid to improve drying. ■ Use cycle s or options that a dd extra heat to t he wash or rinse portion of the cy cle only when need ed.
11 Changin g a Cycle or Setting If your dish washer has more than one was h cycle, you can change a cycle an ytime du ring a cycle. 1. Lift the door l atch to stop th e cycle. 2. Press a cycle and, if desi red, press an option. 3. T urn th e cycle control knob clockwise.

13 DISHWA SHER CARE Cle aning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d e ter gent is all th at is nece ssary to keep the outs ide of your dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If yo ur dishwasher h as a stainles s steel exterior , a stainless s teel clean er is recommended.
14 TROUBLESHOOTING First try the solutions suggested here and possibly avoid the cost of a service call...
