5 WA S H E R U S E Understanding W asher Cyc les When the Cycl e Control knob is set to a number an d pulled out, the washer fi lls (to the selected l oad size) before agitation and timing s tart. The washer b egins agitating immediat ely after fil ling; agitation occ urs with the w asher lid up or down.

8 Rinse and Spi n When using extr a detergent for heavily soiled cl othes, or washing special -car e items, you may fi nd an extra rinse an d spin is needed. 1. Push in t he Cycle Control knob and tur n it clockwis e to any of the Rinse s ettings. 2. Pull out the Cycle Control knob.

11 Stains on load ■ Did you follow the manufactur er ’ s directions when adding detergent and fabric s o ftener? Measure detergent and fabri c softener . Use enough detergent to r emo ve so il and ho ld it in susp ensi on. Dilute fabric softener and add to th e rinse portion of a cycle only .
