4 1. Regional restriction codes (r egion number) Regional restriction codes ar e built-in to DVD Changers and DVD videos for each sales r egion. If the regional code of the DVD Changer does not match one of the regional codes of the DVD video, playback is not possible.

8 Installing the remote contr oller batteries 1. Remove the battery compartment cover by pressing and sliding it away from the remote controller unit. 2. Insert two AA (R6- or UM-3)-size batteries into the battery compartment. Carefully follow the polarity diagram (positive (+) and negative (–) symbols) inside the battery compartment.
