2 Intel® RAID Controller SASMF8I Hardware User’s Guide The SAS controller supports the ANSI Serial-attached SCS I (SAS) S tandar d, V ersion 1.0 . In addition, the controller supports the Seri al A T A (SA T A) protocol defined by the Serial A T A Specification, V ersion 1.
