In this confi guration, a Channel Serv ic e Unit (CSU) must t ranslate the short haul DSX1 interf ace in order to support the longer distan ce.

This section describes the me thod and requirements for connecting the adapter to a European E1/PRI line.

Before executing LoopTest, and to avoid incoming call conflicts , disable the RAS Server, as follows: a. From the Start menu, select Prog rams, then Administrative Tools (Common), and then Remote Access Admin.

A warning message informs you that this action will permanently remove the component, and asks if you want to continue.

Use this utility to add and remov e Interphase W AN adapters and their fi rmware, and to manage ISDN properties for adapter ports.
