4. Installation Driver Installation If you ha ve connected the notebook adapter to y our computer , please remov e it first. Inser t the Driver and Utility CD into CD Drive . A series of introduction screens will show up . It runs on Macromedia Flash.
Note: The f ollowing procedures are operated in Windows 2000.The steps and screen shots are similar f or the other suppor ted OS (such as Win 98SE, ME and XP). Step. 1 Now , please inser t your card into y our laptop. When Windows 2000 recognizes the adapter , the Found New Hard ware Wizard dialog bo x appears.
Select the Searc h for a suitable driver f or my de vice and click Next . Select the Specify a location chec kbox. Clic k Next . Click Br owse button, bro wse to the IOGEAR GWP512DriverWin2k directory and click OK .
The wizard will displa y the location of dr iver . Click on the Next b utton. After a while, the wizard will report that the hardware installation is complete. Click Finish . The Microsoft Digital Signature Not Found dialog bo x could appear at this point in the installation.

Step. 1 F rom the Main Installation Menu, select the button of GWP512 Configuration Utility -- Od yssey fr om Mar vell. Step. 3 Step.4 6. Installations of Configuration Utility and Odysse y f or Marvell Utility After clicking De vice Manager …, the follo wing screen will be shown.
Step. 2 Step. 3 In the Destination Folder screen you are ask ed to confir m the Destination Folder f or the application software . If you would lik e, y ou may change the destination f older to another location as the director y . Click Next . Select a program f older and click Ne xt .
Step. 7 The InstallShield Wizard is installing utility . Click Finish to compete the Utility installation. The InstallShield Wizard continues to install the Odyssey Client f or Marvell helps the user to configure WP A function. The Odyssey Client Installation Wizard window appears.
Click the b utton of I accept the ter ms in the license agreement. Click Next . Enter User Name and Organization in the Customer Inf or mation window .
Click Install to install the prog ram. The InstallShield Wizard star ts copy files to PC . When installation is complete, the Wizard Completed window appears .
Odyssey f or Mar v ell Configuration Utility Icon After you launch the utility , the utility icon will reside on the Windows system tra y and provides at-a-glance f eedback about the de vice's status by changing appearance . Right-click mouse b utton on the icon and select Restore from the shor tcut menu.
The user can now use an y of the management functions availab le in the Configuration Utility . Step. 2 Right-click mouse b utton on the network connection icon resides on the system tray , and clic k View av ailable Wireless Networks. Step. 1 The f ollowing Connect to Wireless Network dialog bo x will be displa yed.
