Before You Start 4 Thank you for purchasing the Ironman 250u Upright! This quality product you ha ve chosen was designed to meet your needs for cardio vascular ex ercise. Before you start, please read the Owner's Manual and become familiar with the operation of y our new unit.
Assembly 5 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY: Unpack the box in a clear area. Check to make sure all components are present and in good condition. Do not dispose of the packing material until the assembly is completed. T ools hav e been provided for you to use when assembling this product.
FIGURE 1 Step 1: Attach Front F oot T ube (4 & 17) to Main Frame (1) using two Hex Head Screws (19). Step 2: Attach R ear F oot T ube (4 &18) to Main Frame (1) using two Hex Head Screws (19). FIGURE 2 Step 1: Slide Seat P ost (60) into Main Frame (1) and secure using Locking Knob (36).
Assembly 7 FIGURE 3 Step 1: Thread the Right P edal (31) into the right crank area of Main Fr ame (1). Secure in place by turning it clockwise to tighten. Note: Right P edal (31) is marked with an “R ” . Step 2: Thread the Left P edal (30) into the left crank area of Main Fr ame (1).

Console Instructions 10 CONSOLE BUTTONS: MODE: Press to display each function the on the console screen. During progr am setting this button is used to confirm values entered. START/STOP: Press to ST ART or ST OP exercising. Hold this button for 2 seconds to R eset Console.
Console Instructions 11 RESET: Press to reset each Time, Distance, Calories, and Pulse settings. When setting program, press to toggle console back to initial selecetion mode. FUNCTIONS: These show in small display window . These will automatically scroll thru each function if you press Mode button and manually scroll thru these functions one time.
12 Console Overview c Getting Started: There are 12 programs and on the 250u Upright. Y ou may stop your work out at any time by pressing the ST ART/ST OP button. T o resume workout press ST ART . The console will automati- cally shut off automatically if there is no activity for 4 minutes.
13 Console Overview MANUAL: T o Select a Program press UP or DOWN buttons until selected Progr am is highlighted. Press UP and DOWN buttons to resistance. Y ou may set target Time, Distance, Calories, W att, and Pulse by pressing UP and DOWN buttons, using Mode to confirm.

Moving Instructions 16 Caution! To reduce the possibility of injury while lifting, bend your legs and keep your back straight. As you lean the unit, lift using your legs, not your back. T o move the bik e, start by carefully pushing down on the front handlebars until the rear end of the bike lifts in the air .
