1 IMPORT ANT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Do not install the system near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (i ncluding amplifiers) that produc e he at. 2. Protect the power cord from being walk ed on or pinched p articularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
2 IMPORTANT NOTES Avoid installing the unit in locations descr ibed below: Places exposed to direct sunlight or cl ose to heat radiating appliances such as electric heaters. Dusty, humid or moist places. Places subject to constant vibration.
3 Display Segment SETTING UP AND CONNECTING This Portable Docking System is design ed to operate o n 4 x 1.5V ‘AA’ (UM-3) batteries (Not included) or the included AC Adaptor. A Lithium batter y (Included) is also required for the backup of the clock.

While the hour digit blinks, press or button to adjust your desired ho ur digit. Note : For the 12 Hour format, Make sure the Hour is set so that AM or PM is correctly displayed.
10 Stopping t he Alarm The alarm is programme d to continuously soun d for 60 minutes. T o stop the alarm, follow the directions belo w . 1. SNOOZE / DIMMER Button – Press this button to stop the a larm temporarily . The alarm will stop and autom aticall y resume after 9 minutes.
