13 I MP ORT AN T : W hen m o v ing the pulleys, do not po siti on them bey ond the end of t he shaft . Both pull eys must f u ll y engage the shaft and the key. 7. Open t he lower door, and place t he v -belt around the m otor pull ey and the w h eel pull ey (see Figur e 13).

18 3. As y ou becom e m ore ex per i enced with t he saw, you m ay fi nd it necessary to change the bl ade tension f rom the initi a l setti ng. Changes i n blade widt h and the type of m a t erial bei ng cut w i ll hav e an e f fect on blade t ension.
19 3. Tight en lock knob. Make sure blade gui de bloc ks (C, Fi gure 30) are sti ll fl at t o the blade. If adjustment is necessary, l oo s en loc k knob (A, Figure 30) and r otate assem bl y until guide bloc k s are fl at to b l ade.
