9 Conveyor Belt Track ing Belt tracking ad j ustmen t m ay be neces sary during break-i n pe riod to co mpensat e for be lt stretching. Abrasive belt tension m ust be pr operly adjusted before adjusti ng the tr a c k i ng. Ad j ust t he belt tracking while conveyor belt i s r unn i ng a t it s f astest speed.
10 Fine Tuning Drum Al ign ment W hen sanding boards w i der t hen the drum , drum ali gn m ent i s critic al and m us t be adj us t ed ex ac tly lev el to sli ghtl y hi gh on t he outboard end. Thi s s houl d prev ent any ridges f rom dev eloping in t he stock.
