3 En vironmental information • After installation, please dispose of the packaging with due regard to saf ety and the envir onment. • When disposing of an old appliance, make it unusable, by cutting off the cable. Remove any door catches, to prev ent small children being trapped inside.

The contr ol panel When the refrig erator is first installed W arning Allo w the appliance to stand for 2 hours after installation. After inserting the plug into the power outlet, if the displa y is not illuminated, press k ey (A) , to turn the appliance on .
7 T emperature r egulation The temperature ma y be regulated by pressing the ke y B. By pressing the k ey B the current temperatur e setting flashes on the indicator .
8 The Quick Chill function is activated by pressing k ey D (sev eral times if necessary) until the corresponding icon a ppears . Y ou must confirm the choice by pr essing ke y E within few seconds.Y ou will hear the buzzer and the icon remains illuminated.
9 Normal operating sounds • Y ou ma y hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped thr ough the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/evaporator or to the fix ed freezer shelves.
10 Dismantling of the bottle and can holder 1. T ake out the Quick Chill Shelf with holder fr om the cabinet. 2. T o loosen the holder from the shelf, bend the hooks/brackets that sur round the backside of the shelf.
11 Mo vable shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desir ed . For better use of space, the fr ont half-shelves can lie over the r ear ones. P ositioning the door shelves T o allow the storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be adjusted in height.
12 Hints and tips F ood storage • T o obtain the best results fr om your appliance, neither hot foods nor liquids which ma y evaporate, should be placed in the larder compartment. • K eep the time between buying chilled food and placing it in your fridge as short as possible.
13 Before an y maintenance or cleaning work is carried out, DISCONNECT the appliance fr om the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal cleaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Rinse and dry thoroughly .
14 If the appliance is not working cor rectl y , please carry out the following checks, before contacting your local Service Force repair agent. IMPOR T ANT: If y ou call out an engineer to a fault listed below , or to repair a fault caused by incor rect use or installation, a charge will be made even if the appliance is under guarantee.
15 Under no circumstances should y ou attempt to repair the machine y ourself. Repairs carried out by inexperienced persons ma y cause injury or serious malfunctioning. Refer to your local Service Force Centre and alwa ys insist on genuine spare parts.

18 W arning IF Y OU ARE DISC ARDING AN OLD APPLIANCE THA T HAS A LOCK OR C A TCH ON THE DOOR, Y OU MUST ENSURE THA T IT IS MADE UNUSABLE T O PREVENT Y OUNG CHILDREN BEING TRAPPED INSIDE. Depending upon the position which you choose for your appliance, you ma y wish to re verse the wa y in which the door opens.
19 Door re versibility Before car rying out any operations, remov e the plug from the po wer sock et. W e suggest that this be done with another person who will keep a firm hold on the doors of the a ppliance during the operations. Open the door with the appliance in the upright position.
20 Reposition, level the appliance, wait f or at least two hours and then connect it to the pow er socket. In case you do not want to carry out the above operations, contact the nearest After Sales Ser vice F or ce.The After Sales Ser vice specialist will carry out the re versibility of the doors at y our cost.
