This guide provides an overview and description of the Physical Interface Cards (PICs) supported by the Juniper Networks T1600 Internet routing node. The PICs are described alphabetically. Table 1 on page 3 lists the PICs supported by the T1600 Internet routing node by PIC family.

PIC/FPC Compatibility Table 3 on page 7 through Table 12 on page 11 provide PIC/FPC compatibility matrices for the current PICs for T1600 routing nodes. The table lists the first JUNOS release in which the FPC supports the PIC. For example, JUNOS 8.5 is the first release in which the T640-FPC1-E2 supports the ATM2 OC3/STM1 IQ, 2-port PIC.
