2 7 Important cautions Installation of the syste m • Select a place which is lev el, dry and n either too hot nor too cold; between 5°C and 35°C. • Leav e sufficient distance between the system and the TV . • Do not use the system in a place subject to vibration.
3 Introduction About discs This system has been designed to play back the f ollowing discs: DV D V I D E O , DV D A U D I O , V C D, S V C D, C D This system can also play bac k the f ollowing discs: • Finalized D VD-R/RW discs recorded in the D VD VIDEO f or mat.

5 Introduction The numbers represent the page numbers. * Connect a pair of headphones (co mmercially av ailable) with a stereo mini plug. 9 Connecting up Connection There is no d iff erence between th e left and r ight speakers. CAUTION • DO NO T connect more than one speaker to one speaker terminal. • The spea kers of this product are magneticall y shielded, but color irregul arities may occur on the TV depending on how the speake rs are installed.

Connecting subwoofer Connecting with other audio device When you w ant to hear sound from the subw oof er , press S.WFR OUT on the remote control to display “SUB WFR ON” (Sub Woofer ON) on the di splay window on the main unit.
11 Connecting up Connection • In standb y mode , set the RGB-Y/C selector corr ectly acco rd ing to your TV . • Whe n th e TV ac comm oda tes the RGB vi deo signal , set the RGB-Y/C s elector to RGB so that y ou can enjo y bette r-quality p ictures .

The same trac k or chapter can be programmed more than once. 1 While the disc is stopped, press PLAY MODE repeatedly to display “PRGM” on the display window on the main unit.
