10 EN Grip Adjustment 1 EXP AND LOOP Separate the V elcro strip. 2 INSERT HAND Pass your right hand through the loop and grasp the grip. 3 ADJUST STRAP LENGTH Adjust so your thumb and fingers can easily operate the Recording Start/Stop Button and Power Zoom Lever .
EN 11 GETTING ST ARTED Shoulder Strap Attachment 1 A TT ACH STRAP Following the illustration at left, thread the strap through the top of the eyelet 1 , then fold it back and thread it through the buckle 2 . Repeat the procedure to attach the other end of the strap to the other eyelet 3 , making sure the strap is not twisted.

Do not touch it either while in operation or soon after turning it off, otherwise serious injury may result. n Do not place the camcorder into the carrying case immediately after using the video light, since it remains extremely hot for some time.

This function allows you to shoot a series of pictures, each slightly different, of the same object for a brief period of time. 36 EN PLA YBACK Basic Playback 1 LOAD A CASSETTE First open the LCD monitor to an angle of over 60 degrees. Slide EJECT to open the cassette holder , then insert the cassette with the label facing out. Press PUSH to ensure the holder is closed and locked.

EN 39 PLA YBACK Cassette Adapter Use this to play back a VHS-C video cassette recorded with this camcorder on a VHS VCR. It is fully compatible with any VHS video cassette recorder . The C-P7U adapter is battery powered and automatically performs tape loading and unloading.

50 EN TROUBLESHOOTING If, after following the steps in the chart below , the problem still exists, please consult your JVC dealer . The camcorder is a microcomputer -controlled device. External noise and interference (from a TV , a radio, etc.) might prevent it from functioning properly .
