EN 17 Power Dial Position Function Allows y ou to record using NO special effects or manual adjust- ments. Suitable for standard recording. Allows you to set various recording functions using the Menus. If you want more creati ve capabilities than Full Auto recording, try this mode.

EN 21 Time Code During recording, a time code is recorded on the tape. This code is to confirm the location of the recorded scene on the tape during playback. If recording starts from a blank portion, the time code begins counting from “00:00:00” (minute:second:frame).
22 EN LCD Monitor/Viewfinder Indications Y ou can make the LCD monitor/V iewfinder indications appear/disappear . 1 PRESS ON/OFF BUTTON When you do not want the indications to appear , press the ON/OFF button for longer than approximately 1 second. Certain indications disappear .
EN 23 Interface Shooting The person you are shooting can view himself/ herself in the LCD monitor , and you can even shoot yourself while viewing your own image in the LCD monitor . 1 TIL T LCD MONITOR UPW ARD Open the LCD monitor and tilt it upward to 180 degrees so that it faces forward.

EN 41 MENU EFFECT The new scene gr adually appears as the old one gradually disappears. The new scene wipes in over the previous one from the upper right corner to the lower left corner . The next scene gradually wipes in from the centre of the screen toward the corners, covering the previous scene.

The flickering that occurs when shooting under a fluorescent light or mercury-v apour lamp is reduced.
