2 Serial Plate Location Y ou will nd the model and serial number printed on the serial plate. The serial plate is located along the interior side trim and visible when the ov en door is opened. R emember to r ecord the serial number for future r eference.

7 About the C eramic Glass C ooktop The cer amic cooktop has radiant surface elements located below the surface of the glass. T he design of the ceramic cooktop outlines the ar ea of the surface element underneath. Make sur e the diameter of the pan matches the diameter of the element outline on the cooktop .
8 Surface C ooking Settings Use the chart belo w to determine the correct setting for the kind of food you ar e preparing. T he Simmer settings are used to simmer and keep larger quantities of foods w arm such as stews and soups. T he lo wer Simmer settings ar e ideal for delicate foods and melting chocolate or butter .
9 Setting Surfac e C ontrols Operating the Dual Surfac e Radiant Element Y our model is equippe d with Dual radiant surface element in the right &left front positions (See Figur e 1). T urn the knob clockwise to turn on the DUAL surface element (See Figur e 3) and counterclockwise to turn on the SINGLE surface element (See Figure 2).
10 Figure 1 Setting Surfac e C ontrols Setting W armer Zone The purpose of the W armer Zone is to k e ep hot cook e d foods at serving temperatur e. Use the W armer Zone to keep cooked foods hot such as: vegetables , gravies , casseroles , soups, stews, breads , pastries and ov en-safe dinner plates.
11 C ookw ar e Material t ypes The cookwar e material determines how ev enly and quickly he at is transferr ed from the surface element to the pan bottom. The most popular materials available ar e: ALUMINUM - Excellent heat conductor . Some types of food will cause it to darken (Anodized aluminum cookwar e resists staining & pitting).
12 Befor e Setting Ov en C ontr ols Remo ving and Replacing Ov en Racks T o remo ve , pull the rack forw ard until it stops. Lift up fr ont of rack and slide out . T o replace , t the r ack onto the guides on the ov en walls. Tilt the fr ont of the rack upw ard and slide the rack back into place.
13 Setting Ov en Contr ols C ontrol P ad Functions READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULL Y BEFORE USING THE OVEN. For satisfactor y use of y our oven, become familiar with the various functions of the o ven as described below . Note: The time of day must rst be set in or der to operate the o v en.
14 Setting the Clock The pad is used to set the clock. The clock may be set for 12 or 24 hour time of day operation. T he clock has be en preset at the factory for the 12 hour oper ation. When the range is rst plugged in, or when the po wer supply to the range has been interrupted, the time in the display will ash.
15 C onsumer Dened Contr ol Note: The Consumer Dened Control features are adjustments to the contr ol that will not ae ct cooking results. These include the Oven Lockout , T emperatur e Display and Silent Control Oper ation fe atures Setting Ov en Lock out Feature The Stop pad controls the Oven Lockout feature.
16 Setting Preheat The Pr ehe at pad controls the P reheat feature. The P r eheat feature will bring the o ven up to temperatur e and then indicate when to place the food in the ov en. Use this feature when recipes call for pr ehe ating. Pr eheating is not necessar y when roasting or cooking casser oles.

18 Setting C on v ection Bake Con vection baking uses a fan to circulate the o ven ’ s he at ev enly and continuously within the oven. T his improv ed he at distribution allows for e ven cooking and bro wning results. Multiple racks cooking may slightly incr ease cook times for some foods, but the o ver all result is time saved.
19 Setting C on v ection Roast This method of cooking enables y ou to obtain the best results when r oasting. Remember to use tested r e cipes with times adjusted for conv ection roasting when using the conv e ction mode. This o ven is equipped with multiple fan speeds for even cooking when baking and better tasting meats when roasting.
20 Setting Ov en Contr ols Setting Broil When broiling , heat radiates downw ard from the ov en broiler for ev en cover age. The follo wing temperatur e settings apply to the br oil feature: • Auto-suggest (default setting): 550°F / 288°C. • Min.
21 Setting Ov en Contr ols Setting W arm The W arm fe ature will k e ep ov en baked foods warm for serving up to 3 hours after cooking has nishe d. A fter 3 hours the W arm feature will shut-o automatically . The W arm feature should be used only with foods that are already at serving temperatur e.
22 Setting Ov en Contr ols Setting the Recipes The R e cipes feature is used to recor d and recall y our favorite r ecipe settings. This feature may stor e and r ecall from 1 to 3 dier ent settings. The R e cipes feature may be used with Bake or a Timed Bake .
23 Setting Ov en Contr ols Setting Sabbath Feature T o canc el Sabbath fe ature Pr ess and hold simultane ously both the Cook Time and Delay Star t for at least 3 se conds (a beep will sound) and release. All cooking features pr eviously set will automatically cancel once Sabbath mode has ended.
24 Self-Cleaning C y cle What to Expect during Cleaning While the ov en is in operation, the oven heats to temperatur es much higher than those used in normal cooking. Sounds of metal expansion and contraction are normal. Odor is also normal as the food soil is being remo ved.
25 Self-Cleaning C y cle Self-Clean Time Length * For satisfactory results , use a 2 hour Self-Clean cycle for light soils and a 3 hour cycle for av erage or a 4 hour cy cle for heavy soils. If you are planning to use the o ven directly after a self-clean cycle r emember to allow time for the o ven to cool down and the ov en door to unlock.
26 C are & Cleaning (Cle aning Char t) Cleaning V arious Par ts of Y our Range Before cleaning any part of the range , be sure all controls are turned OFF and the range is COOL. REMO VE SPILLO VERS AND HEA VY SOILING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. REGULAR CLEANING WILL REDUCE THE NUMBER OF MA JOR CLEANING LA TER.
27 C are & Cleaning C ooktop Cleaning Before cleaning the cooktop , be sure the controls ar e turned to OFF and the cooktop is COOL. DO NOT use a cooktop cleaner on a hot cooktop . The fumes can be hazar dous to your health, and can chemically damage the ceramic glass surface.
28 C are & Cleaning Special Caution for Aluminum Use on the C eramic Cooktop • Aluminum foil- Use of aluminum foil on a hot cooktop will damage the ceramic cooktop . Do not use thin aluminum cooking utensils or allow aluminum foil to touch the ceramic cooktop under ANY cir cumstances.
29 Changing Oven Light Be sure the ov en is unplugged and all parts are COOL befor e r eplacing the ov en light bulb . Do not turn the oven light on during the self-cleaning cycle. High temperatur e will reduce lamp life. On some models an interior ov en light will turn on auto - matically when the ov en door is opened.
30 Before y ou call for ser vice , revie w this list . It may save y ou time and expense. The list includes common occurrences that ar e not the result of defective workmanship or materials in this appliance.

32 C ooking Information Ov en Baking For best cooking r esults , heat the ov en befor e baking cookies, breads, cakes , pies or pastries, etc... There is no nee d to preheat the oven for roasting me at or baking casseroles. The cooking times and temperatures nee ded to bake a product may vary slightly from your pre viously owned appliance.
