7 Using Y our N ew Dishwasher As a Sink When you need more sink area, remove the rack and spray arm comple tely . T o open drain 1. T u rn th e drain stopper as sembly lef t ¼ tur n and li ft to allow water to drain. T o close drain 1. Insert dr ain st opper assem bly so it al igns and drops down to seal ag ain st t he d rai n.
8 Fold-Down Cup Shelf Fold down the cup shelf on the rack front to hold additi onal cups , stemwar e or long ite ms suc h as ut ensils and sp atulas. Fol d up when you need room for larger items in the main rac k.
9 Loading Silverwa re Baske t Load the si lver war e bas ket w hile it is in the ra ck or t ake th e basket out for load ing on a counter or tabl e. Mix item s in each s ection of th e basket with some poin ting up and some down to a void nest ing. Sp ray canno t reach nested items .
