4 Electrical R equirements Observe all gover ning cod es and ordinances. Required: ■ A 120 V olt, 60 Hz, AC only , 15- or 20-amp electric al supp ly with a fuse or circuit breaker . Recommended: ■ A time-delay fuse or time-delay circuit breaker . ■ A sep arate cir cuit s erving only this applia nce.

6 MICROWAVE OVEN CONTROL Dis pla y When power is firs t supplie d to the microwave oven, a “:” will blink i n the di splay . T ouch CAN CEL/OFF to s top the blinking. If th e “:” blin ks in the dis play at any ot her t ime, a po wer failu re has occurred.
7 Clock This is a 12-hour c lock. To S e t : 1. T ouch a nd hold SELECT pad for 5 second s. “12:00” wi ll appear i n the d isplay , wit h the hour (12) flas hing. If you are changing the time, t he current set time w ill appear , with th e hour fl ashing.
8 MICROWAVE OVEN USE A magnetron in the ov en produces microwaves which reflect off the metal floor , w alls and ceiling a nd pass th rough the tur nt able and appropriate cookware to the food.
9 Cookware and Din nerware Cookware and dinnerware must fi t on the tur nt able. Alw ays use oven mitts or pot holders when handling b ecause any dish may become hot from heat transf erred from the food. Do not use cookwar e and d innerwar e with gold or silve r trim.
10 Cook T ime Set Cook time may be set in the foll owing increments, in min utes and second s: To U s e : 1. T ouch COOK TIM E, then turn the dial to desir ed cook time or touch COOK TIME repeatedly to increase cook time. See chart for time increments.
11 Meal Pr ep Re heat Times and cooking pow er have been preset for reheating speci fic food types. Use the following chart as a guide. * For smaller rolls, 2 rolls may be counted as 1 piece. T o Use the Reheat Contr ol: 1. T ouch R EHEA T . The display will show “1” for t he first food type.
12 One T ouch S ensor Cooking A sensor in th e microwave oven de tects hum idity releas ed from the food and automatically sets a cooking time based on the selected pad . Use the foll owing chart as a guide for t he ONE TOUCH pads. * Do not use regular paper bags or gl assware.
13 MICROWA VE OVEN CAR E General Cleaning IMPORT AN T : Before clean ing, make sure all controls are off and the microwave oven is cool. Always follow l abel instruct ions on cleaning product s. Soap, water and a soft cloth or s ponge are suggested unless otherwise noted.
