10 Convect ion Bake Feature (mod el KCO223 on ly) An automatic Convection Bake featur e on model KCO223 will operate only when the Bake function is selected. The Convection Bake function w ill continu ously circulate heat whi le bak ing . Heated air is generated and circulates heat at the desired temperature by the built-in fan.

Up to 6 slices of br ead may be placed directly on the rack fo r toasting . This unique 6-position rack also holds the broil pan with grill , baking pans or dishes, and standard bakeware.
12 Baking (a nd Reaheating) with the Co untertop Oven Both the top and bottom cooking element s will cycle o n and off while bakin g in order to maintain the desired oven temperatur e. For Convection Bake model KCO223, the convecti on fan w ill o nly run w hen t he Bake f unction is selected to circulate heat at the desired oven temperatu re.
13 T oasting with the Co untertop Oven Both the top and bottom cooking elem ents will heat when this fu nction is selected. Recomme nded R ack P ositions: Use th e lower slots along oven w alls. Position the oven rack as shown in Posit ion E (bottom slot, rack up) in the “Understanding Positions of the Oven Rack ” section.
14 Countertop Oven Use T ips Setting very short times When setting timer for 5 minutes or less, turn the Ti me control knob beyond the 10-minute mark . Then, turn the knob back to the desired time. Are guesstimates OK ? Experience wi ll teach you how much time to use for toasting various kinds of bread.
