Care should be taken not to rub, damage, or move the gasket. ■ Do Not Use Oven Cleaners – No commercial oven cleaner or oven liner protective coating of any kind should be used in or around any part of the oven.

8 Oven T emperature Control IMPORT AN T : Do not use a thermometer to measu re oven temperature becau se opening the ove n door and eleme nt or burn er cycling may give in correct r eadings.
9 3. Press BAK E. Press the number pad s to enter a temperat ure other than 350°F (17 7°C). The b ake range can be set betw een 170 °F and 500°F ( 77°C a nd 260°C). 4. Press COOK TIME. 5. Press the number pad s to enter the l ength of Sab bath Mode time, up t o 9 hours 59 minut es.
10 BAKEWARE T o cook food e venly , hot air must be able to cir culate . Allow 2 in. (5 cm) of space a round bakeware and oven walls. Use t he following chart as a guid e. Bakeware The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r esults. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendations and use the bakeware size recommended in the recipe.
11 Baking and Ro asting During baking or roastin g, the bake and broil elemen ts will cycle on and off in intervals to mai ntain th e oven temperatu r e. If the oven door is opened during baking or r oasting, the broi l elements wi ll turn off immediately and the bake el ement will tur n off in two mi nutes.
12 BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3 in. (7 cm) or mor e from the broil elements, rac k position 4 is recommended . For diagram, see the “Positioni ng Racks and Bakew are” section. A tempe ratur e of 500 °F (260° C) is r ecomm ended.

14 T o Delay Start Self-Clea n: Befo re delay st ar ting Self -Clea n, make s ure the cl ock is set to the correct time of day . See “Clock” se ction. Also, ma ke sure the door is closed completely or it wi ll not lock a nd the cycle will n ot begin.
15 BROILER P AN AN D GRID Do not clean in the Self-Cleaning cycl e. ■ Mildly abrasive cl eanser: Scrub with wet scour ing pad. ■ Solution of ¹₂ cup ( 125 mL) ammonia t o 1 gal. ( 3.75 L) wa ter: Soak for 20 minutes, th en scr ub with s couring or ste el wool pad.
