Do not use the microwave oven near water - for example, near a kitchen sink, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, or similar locations.
5 Electrical R equirements Observe all gover ning cod es and ordinances. A 12 0 V olt , 60 Hz, AC only , 1 5- or 20-amp fuse d electric al supply ( or circuit breaker) is required. (A time-d elay fuse or ci rcuit breaker is recommended.) It is r ecommended th at a separate ci rcuit serving only this applia nce b e pr ovi ded.
6 Browning Pa n and Handle (available as accessory) The Browning Pan, wit h a nonstick surface and deta chable handle, ha s been special ly designed for mi crowave use, and is ideal for p an-frying (p an-browning) foods in the microwave oven . See “Br owning Pan Use” section for mor e informati on.

8 Starting T emperature Room temperature foods will heat faster than refrigerated food s, and refrigerate d foods will heat fast er than frozen foods. Composition and Density Foods high in fat and sugar will r each a higher temperatur e, and will heat fas ter than other foods.
9 Cooking Power Many recipes for micr owave cooking specify which cooki ng power to us e by per cen t, name or num ber . For examp le, 70%=7=Medium -High. Use the follow ing chart as a general guide for the suggested cooking power of specific foods. Cooking To U s e : 1.
10 Sensor Cooking A humidit y sensor in the oven cavity d etects mois ture and humidity emitted from food as it heats. The sensor adjusts cooking times to various types and amounts of food. Programs have been preset for ce rtain food types . Use the following chart as a guid e.

The microwave oven will begin heating the pan at 10 0% power . When th e cycle ends, “END ” will appear in the display , and 1 long end- of-cycle tone will soun d.
