14 TRADITIONAL COOKI N G Baking and R oasting The BAKE function is ideal for b aking, roastin g or heating casseroles. During baking or roastin g, the bake and broil element s will cycle on and off in intervals to main tain oven temperat ure.

1 6 CONVE CTION COO KING During convecti on cooking, th e fan provides increased hot ai r cir culation con tinuously and more con sistently thr oughout th e oven. The movement of heat ed air around the food helps t o speed up cooking by pene trating the cooler outer surfaces.
1 7 Convection Roastin g In the Convec t Roast funct ion, the bake and br oi l elements operate, along wi th the fan, to provide heat in the oven cavity . Use Convect R oast when cooking food on a s ingle rack, such as chicken, tu rkey , tender roasts and vege tables.
1 8 STEAM-ASSI STED COOKING NOTE : For 208V installations i t is r e commended that cooking temperatures be i ncreased by 15 ° F (8 ° C) to adjust for r educed voltag e.
