3 DESCRIPTI ON 1. Adapter: Use this adapter when playing 45 RPM records . 2. Platter: Platter change in the record will be placed here 3. Tonearm 4. Tonearm Lock : Use this lock to k eep the tonearm in place when no t in use. 5. Dust Cover: Use this to protect th e turntable from exposure to dust.

5 INITIAL STA RTING- UP MAINS CONNECTION Ensure that the mains voltage of your hom e corr esponds to th e operat ing voltage of the unit. Yo ur unit is read y to be connec ted to a m ains volt age of 110V/60H z or 220V/50H z.
6 MAINTEN ANCE TO REPLAC E THE STYLUS ( FIG.A) - Put the rest clip on the pick-up arm. - Pull the stylus in the direction of arrow (A) and remove it. - Put in the new stylus following the reverse procedure. TO DISAS SEMBLE T HE CART RIDGE (FIG .B) - Put the rest clip int o the pick-up arm.

11 Track Pop-Do wn Menu The Track Pop-Down Menu appears when you clic k in a track 's title. This lets you acces s a f ew special com m ands that app ly to individual trac ks . Name... - le ts you cha nge the n am e of the track . Mov e Track Up - excha nge plac es with the trac k above this one.
12 Set Rate - s ets the num ber of samples per s econd of the tr ack . 44100 Hz is used b y audio CDs . Tracks can have diff erent sam ple rates in Audac ity; the y are automatical ly resam pled to the project sam ple rate (in the lo wer-left corner of the windo w).
13 Export Sel ection As MP3... - s am e as above, but only expor ts the current select ion. Export as Og g Vorbis.. . - ex ports all of the aud io as an Og g Vorb is file. Ogg Vor bis files ar e compres sed and theref ore tak e up much less dis k s pace, but the y lose some aud io qualit y.
14 Delete - Rem oves the audio dat a that is curr ently selecte d without copying it to th e clipb oard. Silence - Erases the au dio data currentl y selected, repl acing it wit h silence inst ead of r emoving it. Split - Moves t he selecte d r egion into its own trac k or tracks, replacing the aff ected portion of the original track with silence .
