1 1. Introduction GSW-2453, 3-slot Gigabit Chassis switch, is a modular Switch that can be used to build high-performance switched work group networks. This switch is a store-and-forward device that offers low latency for high-speed networking. The Switch is targeted at workgroup, department or backbone computing environment.

6 R e a r P a n e l The 3-pronged power plug, 2 fans, power switch ing is located at t he rear panel of the GSW-2453 as shown in Figure 2-2. The switch will work with AC power in the range of 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz.

PC, workstations, and servers can communica te each other by dire ctly connecting with 3-slot Gigabit Chassis s switch.
