Setting up the printer The p rinte r ca n be used as a stand -alon e pro duct, or w ith a conn ecti on t o a compu ter. T o set u p th e pri nter, see t he Set u p sh eet that ca me wi th the p r od uct.

Printing photos using Blue tooth Bluet ooth is a wir eless te chnol ogy that l ets compa tible prod ucts se nd and receiv e communicati on. The printe r commu nica tes with Blu etooth- enab led de vic es thro ugh a Univ er sal S e ri a l Bus ( USB) Blu etooth adapte r, which is so ld sep ara tely .
Maintaini n g the printer Changing th e print cart ridge Remov ing a used pr int ca rtrid ge 1 Make su re th e pr i n ter is on. 2 Open the access c over. The pr int ca rtridge car rier mov es and stops at th e loading position , unl ess the printer is busy.

Refilling a print ca rtridge The wa rranty does n ot cover repair of failure s or damage c aused by a refilled cartridg e. Lexmark does not rec ommend use of a refill ed ca rtridge. Refilli ng a ca rtridge can affec t print qual ity and may cause dam age to the printer.
