—4— 1.3 LOCA TIONS OF CONTROLS 1.4 SAFETY PRECA UTIONS 1. When ser vicing, set the RO T AR Y SWITCH to Off ( 0 ) and unplug the power cord. 2. Obser ve the original lead dress. If a shor t circuit is f ound, replace all par ts which hav e been ov erheated or damaged by the short cir- cuit.

2.4.2 EV APORA T OR 1. Remov e the cabinet. (Ref er to section 2.1.2) 2. Discharge the refrigerant by using a refrigerant recov er y system. 3. Remov e the air guide upper . (Ref er to Section 2.2.1) 4. After discharging the refrigerant completely , unbraze the interconnecting tube at the e vaporator connections.

Condenser air flow Remov e the cabinet, inspect the interior surface restriction of the condenser . If restricted, clean carefully with a vacuum cleaner (do not damage fins) or brush.
