8 St ep 1: Base F r ame / Support Handle Assembly 1. Remov e scre w J , and nut N from both right/left sides o f base fr ame. 2. Care fully lift the suppor t handle and handlebar s upright. Do not let the handlebars jus t dr op down, which could damag e the wire harnes s.
9 St ep 3: Console Assembly 1. Lay the c onsole on the console t ube and connect harness es. Do not pull a lot of wir e out of the handlebars as it ma y be difficult tucking the e xce ss wire back int o the handle bars . It is helpful to ha ve someone hold the c onsole while making these connections .

12 exercise programs TR1000- TV treadmill c omes with 1 manual and 12 pre set progr ams (5 Speed Pr ograms, 5 Incline Pr ogr ams, 2 distanc e progr ams and H.R. C. progr am). E ach pres et progr am has 3 diff erent lev els. Speed Pr ogr ams – Pr ograms P1 – P5 aut omatically chang e the speed of the tre admill throughout the work out.
13 Body Mass Pr ogr am: Body Mass Inde x (BMI) - Is a scientific measure that us es a ra tio of height and weight . It is a gener al measure o f health risk, but does not take int o account le an body mass. As a re sult, a health y muscular individual with very low body f at can be classified as o ver w eight.

15 Pr ogr ams Setup and Selection (P1-P12) 1. Select P rogr am: T o start a progr am simply select the desir ed progr am by pre ssing on either " / " or " / " butt ons and then pres sing the "Enter" butt on.
16 Body Composition Analy sis 1. Select P rogr am: Use either se t of " / " and " / " arro ws to s croll thr ough the progr ams until you r each the "Body Mass " composition pr ogr am and press the "Ent er" butt on.

The tr eadmill comes with a f olding feat ure that r educes the amount of s tor age spac e requir ed when your tr eadmill is not in use and mak es the tre admill easier to mov e. F olding the T re admill 1. Make sur e that the On/ Off swit ch is turned Off and the po wer cor d is remo ved fr om the wall.
Unfolding the T r eadmill 1. Make sure y ou hav e adequate spac e to lay the tr eadmill down. T here needs t o be at least 2 fee t of clear ance on both sides and in the fr ont of the tr eadmill. There should be at least 4 f eet of clear ance on the back side of the tr eadmill for s afet y reas ons.
The tr eadmill is designed and manuf actured t o be reliable and eas y to use . How ever , if you ha ve a pr oblem, these tr oubleshooting step s may help you find the c ause.
Pr ess “Ent er ” and then “Speed Up ” buttons until the cons ole changes t o show a number in incline , center and speed windo ws. The numbers sho wn ar e example s Pr ess the “Ent er ” but ton. The Incline , Center and Speed window s should change t o another set of numbers .
Belt T ensioning If the belt begins to slip during us e, it will need t o be tensioned. Y our treadmill is equipped with tension bolt s that are acc essible fr om the back of the tr eadmill. Befor e t ensioning the belt, start the tr eadmill and set the speed to 3 MPH.
Belt Lubric ation Y our LifeSpan tr eadmill belt should be lubricat ed every 3 months o f regular use or e very 40 hours o f use. Use only 100% Silic on and avoid using aer osol silicon spr ays that include additiv es and petr oleum distillates . One ounce of silic on should be used for each applic ation.
