Phoneline + 10/100 USB Network Adapter Connecting to a Phoneline Network Computers on a Phoneline netw ork can either connect through their HomeLink ports, or through your home’ s existing telephone wiring. The dia- gram below sho ws a HomeLink netw ork that takes advantage of both types of connections.

Before sharing your f iles and printers, you should prepare your computer to be used with an y f ile ser vers that ma y be on the netw ork.

Windows doesn't detect new hardware with the HomeLink Adapter hardware installed, or it continues to detect the adapter each time I restart the PC. • Y ou might not hav e installed the adapter cor rectly or securel y into the appropriate port of your computer .
