4 Logitec h ® Bef ore Y ou Begin If you already ha v e a wireless or ether net network and a comput er t o use as a server , setting up your Sq ueezebox Duet should tak e about 30 minutes. T o make t he set up as simple as possible, t here are a f e w things y ou should do.

14 Logitech ® Next you’ll see t he Wireless Connection screen, wher e you can 5. choose t o “Connect using Squeezebo x” or “Connect using other wireless network”. Since y ou will be using the h ybrid installation, you should select “Connect using ot her wireless network.

16 Logitec h ® Bridged Netw ork Configuration This configuration should only be used if y ou do not hav e a wireless network in your home. Y our Squeezebo x R eceiver will be connect ed t o your wir ed ethernet netw ork, and Squeezebo x Controller will use an ad-hoc connection to t he R eceiver f or it’s network connection.

32 Logitec h ® When setting up the Controller , no music sources appear . Normally , you will see an option f or SqueezeNetw ork, as well as one or more comput ers running SqueezeCent er . The comput ers running SqueezeCent er will appear as the y do to t he network; often the name will be somet hing similar to JOHN-SMITH-C OMPUTER .
