16 A UDIBLE I NDICATORS W hen th e Vo yage r is in operation, it provides aud ible feedba ck. These sounds indicate the status of t he scanner . Eig ht settings are available for the tone o f the beep (normal, 6 alternate t ones and no tone).
17 V ISUAL I NDICATORS The MS9540 ha s three LED indicators (green, red and y ellow) locate d on the head of the s canner. The M S9520 has two LED indi cators (green * and r ed * ) located on th e head of th e scanner.
18 F AILURE M ODES Flashing Green* an d one Razzberry Tone This ind icates the sc anner has ex perienced a laser sub- system fai lure. Return th e unit for repa ir to an auth orized service center. 22 U PGRADING THE F LASH ROM F IRMWARE The MetroSet2 pr ogram is a functional co mponent of M etrologic’s new line of Flash- based scanners. This progra m allows th e user of a M etrologic sca nner to quickly up grade to a new or custom ver sion of softw are.
