7 2.1 System Requirement 1. One PC ( a) Pentiu m 100 or abov e, 64 MB DRAM , W indow s 98 or abov e. (b) Network card (RJ-45) & CO M port 2. One s tandard RS-232 straig ht cable with t w o female connectors depended on the dif ferent model . 3. PSTN li nes / PBX ex tension lines ( up to 4 lines ).

12 (b) Configure V oIP FXO gateway IP Address Use “ ifaddr ” command to set up V oIP FXO g ateway’ s IP address and related networ k information. An exampl e is demonstr ated below : usr/config $ ifaddr –ip 1 0.1.1.1 –mask 255. 2555.255.0 –gate 10.

15 4. Disconnect T one Configuration This appli cation note i s going to descr ibe the pr ocedures of con f iguri ng the disconnect ton e on V oIP FXO gateway in or der to release LINE ports of V oIP FXO gatew ay after PSTN/PBX caller par ty is hung up.
