Request for daily care Inkjet printer is the precision machine that has highly delicate mechanism. Especially , little dust and paper powder may have ef fect on a head nozzle firing ink, and may not get normal printin g. T o use the inkjet printer in good condition, we recommend the followin g daily care.
2 F or saf e oper a tion Inst allation environment and Notes on cleaning • Use this printer in cle an (less dust) e nvironment. The use of fan and ventila tor mig ht because of dusty environment. They brow dust up dust around the pr inter . • As using UV curing ink, install this printer in a well-ventilated area.
3 In case def ectiv e printing is not r esolv ed In the following cases, clean the suctio n nozzle and cap using the cleaning kit. • The station interior is severely contaminated. • Defective printing is not resolved af ter executing the head cleaning fu nction ( Operation ManualP .
4 Cleaning inside the st ation 1 Press the key in the local mode. 2 Select the [MAINTENANCE] by pressing or key , and press the key . 3 Select the [ST A TION] by pressing or key . 4 Press the key twice. • The carriage moves. 5 Clean the suction nozzle with the exclusive cleaning swab.
In case defective prin ting is not resolved 5 6 Remove dirt of other p art s • Wipe the adher ent ink which got on the cap r ubber or inside the suction n ozzle cover with the exclusive cleaning swab. 7 Press the key . • Initial operation is executed.
6 Cleaning flushing BO X Replacing waste ink abso rption material in the flushing BOX. Cleaning the flushing BOX 1 Open the flushing BOX • The flushing BOXes are both sides of the device. 2 Replace the absorption material in the flushing BOX with a new one .
7 A v oiding dripping of ink dr oplet a t printing Cleaning of the head guard plate Ink droplets caused by drawing may appear on a head guard plate on a bottom face of the carriage. As they can cause stain on media by dripping of ink droplets or drawing trouble, conduct cleaning of the bottom face of the carriage periodically .
Avoiding dripping of in k droplet at printing 8 7 Press the key af ter completing the cleaning • Initial operation is executed. • Press the Key to re turn to L ocal mode.
9 W hen the waste ink tank becomes full W aste ink used for cleaning the heads will gather in the waste ink tank. When the t ank is filled with waste ink, the following error message is displayed . Disposing of waste ink 1 Open the waste ink t ank cover .
10 R e gular maintenance f or w hite ink White ink is easier precip itate th an other inks. • In case without printin g more than two weeks, whit e ink may cause precipitate in ink cartridge or inside of the device. • When the ink is precipitated, nozzle clogging o ccurs and normal drawing can not be obtained.
Regular maintenance for white ink 11 7 Press the key . • White ink discharge operation starts. 8 Shake the white ink cartridge up and down about 10 times slowly . 9 When a screen shown in the right is displayed,Return the white cartridge to the ink st ation.
12 Ho w T o Stor e St orage Of Antifreezing Liquid And W ashing Liquid Be sure to store the Antifreezing liquid and the washing liq uid in a cold an d dark place. S tore the Antifreezing liquid and the washing liquid in a place that is out of the reach of children.
