Prior to closing the convertible top, check for and remove all debris from the windsh ield frame, otherwise the closing of the top may be hampered.

In con- junction with the safety belts, the head restrain ts and the airbags, the seated position has a major influence on yo ur safety in the event of an acci- dent.
Adjustments 36 incline the backrest to o far to the rear while the vehicle is being driven , otherwise there is a dan- ger in the event o f an accident of slidin g under the safety belt, eliminat ing the protection nor- mally provided by the belt.

Driving 46 Releasing Pull slightly upwards, pr ess the button and lowe r the lever. In exceptional cases, if the parking brake has to be used to slow or stop the car, do not pull the lever up too hard. In doing so, continuously press the button of the parking brake lever.
