GB - 7 PACKAGE CONTENT S ASSEMBLY T ools Required: •P l i e r s • Open- End Wrenches : 3/8, 7/16, 1 /2, 9/16 in. and/or A djustable Wrench • T ire G auge Unfold Handlebar (Figure 4) 1. Remove the lower and loose n the upper wi ng knobs on the hand lebar as sembly .
GB - 8 Inst all Discharge Chute Crank 1. Remove th e cover from th e gear as sembly on the discha rge chut e. 2. Release t he lock teet h on the gear assembly with your finge r and ro tate the dischar ge chute 90 ° left. 3. Remove an d save the h airpin fro m the contr ol assembl y undernea th the cont rol panel.

Insert the chute lock c able fitting i nto the br acket on the c hute pedes tal, and then conn ect the chute l ock cable to th e lock teeth by fittin g the cable ball end i nto the sl ot on the l ock teeth. NOTE: Press down on lock teeth with your fin ger to align t he cable ball end w ith the sl ot.
GB - 10 Connect Battery (926500, 501 ) 1. Remove wing nuts from ba ttery cover . 2. Install wire le ad to ba ttery terminal . 3. Install batter y cover a nd tighten wing nuts. Check Function of Dual Handle Inter lock Withou t the engine running, press down ( engage) bot h clutc h lever s.

GB - 16 FILLING FUEL T AN K Fuel Shut-Off V alve IMPORT ANT : The fuel shut-off val ve MUST be in the closed p osition p rior to trans porting the unit. The fue l shut-off va lve has two position s: T o add fuel t o fuel t ank: 1. AL W A YS pl ace unit in o pen or wel l-ventil ated area.

GB - 18 5. P ush Pr imer Bu lb 2 or 3 tim es for c old engin e. NOTE: When tempe rature is below -15° F (-26° C) additio nal pri ming may be needed. 6. Inse rt key i nto ignit ion sw itch on engine an d push into "Ru n" positio n. DO NOT twist k ey after it is inserte d.

GB - 20 CLEAN ENGINE Refer to Engine M anual f or detailed ins tructions . CHECK ENGINE OIL The en gine cr ankcase oil sho uld be checke d every 5 hours of operat ion. Oil level M UST b e maintain ed in safe op erating ran ge on dipstick at all times or engi ne damage w ill resul t (See Engi ne Manual ).

Run with a ttachment cl utch engaged a few mi nutes after each use to fre e unit of any loose or melting snow . Close f uel shut-off val ve. Inspec t unit f or visible s igns of wear , br eakage or damage.
